We have a new NPC environment and are set up without the Enhanced Note Taking and using just Interaction Summaries.
However I have discovered that the sort feature in the Interaction Summary component doesn't work when trying to sort on Interaction Date. It appears that that sort is using Start time on the Interaction. We had added a custom field on Interaction Summary to capture the date of the Interaction.
Wondering:
1) Was it a mistake to just use Interaction Summaries without creating an Interaction
2) Am I correct in that the Interaction Summary component is sorting on the Interaction Start Date
3) Any recommendations on how to go from here -
- do we turn on Enhanced Note taking and create an Interaction (I assume we can customize Interaction like any other object)
- do we customize the Interaction Summary component to sort on a different field (what would that take)

Yes, a partial resolution. It has been confirmed that the Interaction Summary interface sorts on the Interaction Start date and that interface is not customizable at this time. We would have to write code to change it - that is not a path we are considering right now.
Thank you for the suggestion of populating the start date - I think that could work, although I think we would have to create an interaction and populate the start date from the summary. Our current setup is to create a Summary only.
Meanwhile I am looking into the Enhanced Interaction Note option, but so far have not found a way to customize the fields that are on the page for the Interaction and the Summary.
