Hi There,
Need some help with an issue we are experiencing in our sandbox org.
We currently have Platform Encryption Enabled and are trying to run a duplicate job on two fields that are encrypted, however when I run the duplicate job, I get the following error, "
Duplicate jobs can't use matching rules that reference encrypted fields. Edit your matching rule, or contact your security admin."
Here are the following steps I have done so far:
- Verified the two fields that are currently encrypted and their settings. The field is a standard text field (See pic attached for general settings)
- Verified that a key has been generated under key management settings for Field (Deterministic) which one was generated back in 2024 and is active.
- Verified the Generate initial deterministic tenant secret is set to on under the encryption settings.
- Synced the account object under the encryption statistics settings which is showing 100% and no sync is needed after running sync.
The hang up I am getting is I do not see a section in the encryption settings called Deterministic Encryption to set that to on. See pic
