SFCC B2C Shop Connector, documentation states two ways to authenticate, Customer Connection Provider and OAUTH2 Application Connection Provider

I want to use OAUTH2. But when I try to configure the operation by clicking Connector Configuration, it only allows me to select (or create) a Customer Connection Provider, it does not allow me to choose the global OAUTH2 Application Connection Provider that I already created. How do I configure OAUTH2?
