Message does not enter process phase in Batch Process

Hi Everyone

I am writing a batch job in mulesoft where I have a select query in input phase which fetches results from database. In the process phase I do insert operation from the inputs received from input phase.

My problem is mule message never enters the process phase and hence I am unable to do insert operation. I am using studio 6.5 and Mule 3.9.

Has someone faced similar issue where input phase works fine but message never enters process phase.
