I would like to set Visibility on a Dynamic Form based on the value of a lookup field when creating a record. The Visibility works for records that are already created, but I can't seem to get it to work for New records. I have tried using Advanced filter, going to the Name field. I also tried to base it on a formula field (which doesn't have a value until Save). Neither worked. Am I missing something or is this a limitation of the Visibility settings with Dynamic forms?

@Tammy Verticchio thanks for the clarification. As a solution embed a Screen Flow (or LWC) with a Project lookup and a decision to show fields based on the selected project before save
