I studied Salesforce for a bit and became certified. I am now in need of a CRM for real estate/mortgage business and weighing whether I should build out my own and use for free or pay for a more specialized CRM with support included. The specialized CRM is $1900 a year.
What is the determining factor that would require me to convert a free dev org to a production org?

I'm pretty sure that the Free Developer Edition MSA strictly says that it's not for business use, only for training. So you probably gotta crack open your piggy bank, either for a license or a Lawyer.
