I'm working on the reports for Opportunities with Products(opportunitylineitem) and Schedules(Lineitemschedule). I'm using the standard report type provided by Salesforce. However, the numbers are not matching. Is there any unique identifier available to capture the monthly revenue. yearly revenue, split revenue ? For Example: Consider the below scenario,
The opportunity has been closedwon in 2023 FY with the products schedules that still generates revenue in 2024FY. I need to calculate the revenue generated by this 2023 FY opportunity in the same report with filter FY 2024 eventhough it's closedwon a year ago.
This report filter will be applied in Dashboard as a linked filter to calculate Revenue for each Financial Year, each FY Fiscal Quarter, each Fiscal Month.
What is the easiest way to achieve this in single report that can be used in Dashboard?

If I understand you correctly, I think you can use the standard report type, but to point your Dashboard filter to the Schedule Date.
