The field 'Contact__c' either does not exist on the Offer__c object or it is not a lookup relationship.

Cómo resuelvo?

    Hi @Moira Meza,

     

    There is a possibility that the relationship field has not been created, or the field's API name might be different.

    Hello, 

    • please check the field is visible to the System Admin in field-level security. modified that visibility then check the challenge.
    • Make sure API name and data type is correct for field
    • If not working then delete field and recreate the field
    • Please make sure you are checking the challenge in correct org.

    I found the solution for the above. It is not working on the existing playground even though we follow the right steps. It works correctly only on the new playground. So we need to create a custom Object Offer and then map this relationship to both Contact and Property.

    Hi, 

    I am trying to add master-detail relationship on Offer with Property and it is ending up like this.  

     

    Cannot Create Master-Detail Relationship

    You cannot create a new Master-Detail relationship on an existing custom object if records already exist. You must first create a Lookup relationship, populate the lookup field with data in all records, and then change the relationship type to Master-Detail.

    Hello @Moira Meza,

    I found the solution for the above issue:Firstly create a new playgroundNow create a Custom object called Offer and create another Custom object called Property in Object ManagerIn Property custom object create Look-up relationship for Contact and then in Offer custom object create Main- detail relationship for property and look-up for contacts as well.It Works!!
