We have a custom object called Inquiry in Pardot and want to add its merged field to an email template which is also in Pardot. How can I achieve this as currently the merge field option is not giving me the capability to do so. Please advise

I'm pretty sure that you can't use anything from a custom object as a merge field. So you would have to cross-populate the data to the lead, contact or account object to access it.
