Hi! 

 

I was curious how you manage Quote request submissions via Pardot forms in Salesforce.

 

Brief description: Quote request forms have been implemented on our website (product sites). If a new prospect completes the form, a new Lead record in Salesforce is created with the Product Name for which they want a quote. 

 

However, when a submission comes from an existing prospect (Contact), we've created Flow to automatically extract essential information from the Contact record and create the associated Opportunity. 

 

I'm wondering about how it looks in your cases. How do you notify sales reps when an existing contact has filed the form, and what should they do about it?

    Hi Damian, 

     

    Your process is quite good as you know Pardot is What You See Is What You get. I have asked before for custom object creation to ease the business workflow a bit as Journey Builder can do it. 

    You could aslo create a tasks, for other situations, opp seems good for product interest\

     

    I would avoid by all means the prospects with the same email address, seen this enabled before to be able to submit multiple times interests and the like, ubt opens a can of worms.
