I would like to seek your expertise to understand if it's possible, through a workflow, to pre-fill case in a cases object from incoming emails.

 

My aim is to enable our clients to open case via email following a specific structure, so that corresponding fields in the case are automatically filled with information from the email content.

 

To clarify, here's an example of the desired email structure:

 

Email content :

Field X: value

Field Y: value

Field Z: value

 

In this example, the values of fields X, Y, and Z would be extracted from the email body and used to fill the corresponding fields in the case.

 

I understand this may require integration between our email system and our ticketing system. However, I'm curious to know if there are any solutions or techniques to implement this functionality.

If you have similar experiences or advice to share, I would be grateful to hear them.

    Email to Case already behaves in a similar way natively. 

     

    Have you considered that as a option?
