We are looking for an easier way for prospects to update their preferred email address in Pardot. Is it possible to add into the email preferences page? Or is it possible to have a form that allows prospects to do so? Any feedback is appreciated.

    Hi,

    I am not entirely sure but I think email preference page cannot be a potential option for this. You may explore the following option.

    NOTE: Email default field is controlled via SF value on the field sync setting.

     

    1. Create a separate form with two fields - current user's email (should be pointing to the default Email field, this should appear on the form anyway since no form can be built without the email field), New email (should be a custom field tied to a field present in leads/contacts or both as necessary)

    2. Whenever any prospects submits this, SF should be able read the data supplied from the custom field and trigger a flow to update the value in original Email field on the respective SF record. This should trigger the prospect sync and email should be updated in both systems.

    3. Accessibility - You should be able to provide the link for this form on the preference page though, or think about better placement on website or, in the email footer.
