Record types for Layouts

Hi i have question, Just want to confirm this is it possible to have Record types for search layouts(case object).

If yes please let me know.

    Are you looking for a solution to display Case record type in Case search layout page. Then go to Setup->Customize->Case->Search Layout

    Then edit the Search Result to include the Case Record type field in the result page. If you want to inclued in filter just edit the Search filter and include the Case Recordtype field
