We have to import an Alpha-numeric code for our invoices from an external system to sfdc. Problem is that we need to convert this alpha-numeric code into QR code and then use it on our invoices, which are visualforce pages rendered as PDFs.

This is the kind of thing that we are looking for in SFDC: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/10/12/display-qr-code-for-gst-india-e-invoicing-on-script-and-smartform

SAP Already has it as a standard functionality, need this in SFDC too. Any leads are apprecited.

    Hi Nikhil,

There is no out of the box functionality that salesforce offers for the conversion of IRN Code to QR code.

The below articles explains how to generate QR Code for Salesforce Objects https://www.forcetalks.com/blog/generate-qr-code-for-any-salesforce-object-in-5-min/

    https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/196397/how-to-create-dynamic-qr-code-that-opens-a-url-with-dynamic-salesforce-unique-id

While currently, this is not an available functionality, Please consider submitting this as an Idea on salesforce IdeaExchange(https://trailblazer.salesforce.com/ideaSearch) so that Salesforce product development team can consider implementing it in upcoming releases.

Hope this helps you. Please mark this answer as best so that others facing the same issue will find this information useful. Thank you
