I've been trying to solve the below hands on challenge , https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/lex_customization/lex_customization_buttons_links. I need to create and add button and links on a compact layout that I already created in the previous units. But I recently got my playground changed as the previous one had some issues. Now the problem is , I'm not able to access compact layout, lightning app pages that I created in the previous units. That's why this challenge is still pending as its the continuation of previous challenges. Can somebody help me if we can sync the previous playground data into the new one #Trailhead Challenges #Trailhead
If you're unable to work with the previous playground and are currently on a new playground, the previous data cannot be recovered, and you'll need to redo the previous modules. That's essentially the nature of playgrounds; a new playground is like a new sheet in our workbook. However, starting over might be easier because you're already familiar with the modules, and doing things the second time tends to be quicker than the first.
Nevertheless, it's not all as bad as it may initially seem. For the sake of curiosity, I created a new playground and completed this task on it. It was accepted. Here's a detailed instruction of what I did on the new playground:
1. Open Setup – Object Manager – Contact
2. On the Contact object, on the left-hand menu, selected the "Buttons, Links, and Actions" tab and chose "New Button or Link"
3. As per the challenge, we needed to create a button called "Google Info"
4. Clicked Save.
5. Next, went to the "Page Layouts" tab and selected "Contact Layout"
6. Clicked on "Buttons" in the top menu and dragged our "Google Info" button.
7. Clicked Save.
Challenge completed 🏆
