We're transitioning away from a "Contacts Only" workflow back to the normal Lead > Contact setup our SF overlords always intended. Leandata will be live soon, allowing us to automatically link Leads to Accounts.
Here's my question: how do I use this Account information in Pardot? I've done some testing and Pardot doesn't let me populate the "Account" field on a Prospect record that is attached to a Lead, even when that Lead is connected to the Account in SF. That means I can't use the Account fields to filter for automations or dynamic segmentation lists (I've tried this manually and failed).
Ideally we'd like to have the flexibility to create segmentation lists and run automations for Leads with Accounts the same way we do for Contacts with Accounts. Has anyone ever done this before? Any insights?
I am not sure if there will be an easy way without any custom solution or any other 3rd party apps to support this since by default account information only flows into Pardot for syncing contacts only. I haven't use LeanData so my understanding is pretty limited. I am sure you will hear back from other members who can give any possible solutions. Thanks!
