We are trying to configure CRM Analytics - Revenue Insights (Revenue Intelligence) in our org for a trial period to see if it is what we want to move forward with.

 

We are not using collaborative forecasting, but we do have it enabled with a forecast type configured.  

 

When we went through the install/setup of Revenue Insights, we told it to use Role Hierarchy...which we do have configured.

 

The problem we are facing is on the Revenue Insights dashboard that it provides, the drop down at the top that lets you select the filter of "My Team", or choose someone's name or someone else's team isn't showing us a complete list of our users, nor is it showing us the list of our sales managers who have teams that report to them.

 

I don't think that it is security related as I am the system administrator and the role I have in our hierarchy is set to the very top level.

 

Anyone else experienced this same behaviour and/or know what might be causing this or how to fix it?

    We actually had a call with Salesforce support yesterday. They indicated that the drop down is current plus 1 level down in the role hierarchy and that is how it was intended to be. They acknowledged there is no documentation on it to be found and their product team is supposed to be putting together something in the future about it.
