We are currently facing a challenge with prospect scoring in Pardot. Our company recently acquired another business that was using a different marketing tool. We have been tasked with importing their prospects into Pardot, but we have encountered several duplicate records. Both companies would like to maintain separate engagement scores for their respective prospects.
As I'm not yet familiar with Pardot, I want to ensure that we explore out-of-the-box solutions if possible. Could anyone help me determine the best way to resolve this issue? Additionally, is it feasible to have the independent scores synced to the lead records?
Hi @Regina Cseppento, François' solution is your best approach here unfortunately. Just like web forms, or chat, it's best to use a third party solution for aspects like data collection and calculation, outside of your marketing platform. This allows to "take the data" with you, in case you change next time
