Recurring public holidays not showing in the gantt

Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding recurring public holidays in the gantt.

Following use case/ setup are done:

• recurring holidays created in the system
  • 2023-10-03 (each year same day)
  • 2024-01-01 (each year same day)
• Created public holiday related to operation hour record for both holiday
  • 2023-10-03 - public holidays have been created for the operating hours and visible in the gantt
  • 2024-01-01 - public holidays have not been created 

I found following details in help & training

• "For recurring holidays, only the first upcoming holiday is shown on the Gantt and accounted for in scheduling and optimization. Subsequent holidays show on the Gantt after the first holiday passes."

Could this be the reason? Does it mean, I have to create all recurring holidays as single entries for the next couple of years?
