I noticed when playing around with Chat in my dev org, and configuring an offline form for customers to fill out when no agents are available, that in the event a customer provides an email, Salesforce is automatically sending the customer a confirmation email - does anyone know what process is firing this email off? I don’t even see the email template it is using and I’m just genuinely curious. Thanks!

If it is a standard set up, I suspect is from a case created in response to the form.
