Hi All, I am using classic email templates for list email, automations, engagement studios and as autoresponders. I need to rebrand these email templates. Should I update the layout of existing email templates or create a copy of existing ones and update them.

Please suggest.

It depends on if you want to keep the existing format for reference. If you do, I would approach this by making a copy of each email. The copy would become your 'historical snapshot'. Then I would update the templates that are actually being referenced in automation with the rebrand. This, of course, would be after testing to make sure everything is working correctly.

The reason I would approach it this way is because it does not require manually updating all of the automations that reference those email templates to new ones and the potential for user error in forgetting to update all references.

But this approach depends on 1) good testing of the email templates beforehand in a sandbox most likely, and 2) whether or not you want to keep the old formatting for some reason.

Just my two cents. :) If you find this helpful, please mark this response as the 'best answer' to effectively close the thread and keep the community neat and tidy.
