We have some technicians that travel to different countries to perform service. Because of this, we have set up multiple stock locations for our technicians, but they are not going abroad often so we would like to have the location of their home-based country as default when adding products consumed. Is there any way to do this?
Besides when using multiple stock locations if the technician uses the filter to see only the product items of one of his stock locations and adds a part from the list after saving the product consumed the list gets wiped no parts are visible to add and the user has to go back and reuse the filter to see the parts again. Is this something you know about? Are you trying to solve this anytime soon?
So I'm not aware of the ability to set a 'Default' location but I'm wondering if there might be a way to solve through some custom logic and sharing certain locations to the Technician in certain scenarios, like when they are going abroad or something similar, as the tech needs sharing access into the location in order to view on the app. Thoughts?
