I've setup operating hours from 8-5pm as normal time and 5-7pm as extended time, and assigned the operating hours to a service territory.  I've added a service resource to the service territory.

My scheduling policy "Customer First" has "Resource availability", and the "Enable Overtime" checkbox is set to FALSE.

However, am I able to create a service appointment and drag it onto the extended time slot via the Gantt, with no rule violation.  I expected a yellow exclamation mark saying there's a rule violation, but it allows it, even though "Enable Overtime" for my work rule is set to false.  Am I missing a step?

 Thanks!

    Couple of steps to verify:

    1. What is your setting for rule violations saying? Do the rule violations warnings appear instantly or or demand?

    2. what Policy is being selected in the Gantt Policy picker? This is the one that is being used while working on the Gantt, and it can be different than the one used for Appointment Booking

    3. Make sure that you have only one Field Availability Work Rule in your Scheduling Policy, or you have correctly configured Relevance Groups.
