Hi all, I'm posting an issue I'm wanting to solve. According to various articles, videos I've found this should be fine so I would like to know what you think. I've attached a video of a demo of what is going on, in short: 1. When adding pardot regions to p or h1/h2 HTML elements, I am able to edit them fine in editor, BUT --> 2. When changing alignment of the text, then I save the email (or refresh) the text is OUTSIDE of editable region, and places it in a <div> outside, making it uneditable. This does not happen when I bold, link it, add a line break, etc. Only when alignment is changed. The video I've attached illustrates this situation. According to the documentation you can add it to any HTML element, and many pages of various sources around the web present this as an option. For the email template that has been produced, we cannot have these regions on the TD element, it has to be on the paragraph or h1 itself to preseve some styling, and keep it compatible with various mail clients. Curious to see what your thougths are on this, let me know what you think. The regions break only after I refresh the page. When I am in editing mode they do not break, so it makes me think this is more serious matter.
@Kermit Del Rosario if someone could take a look at this I would be extremely grateful. If bolding, or changing one sort of styling is not breaking it, but alignment is, it seems to be something may be wrong here. If my thinking is not correct, I'm curious to know. I'd love to get some feedback about this since I've seen many websites online from various experts, consultants have provided this as a working solution (adding regions to h1, p, etc). Thank you for pinging somebody!
