Hello team,
I work for a B2B company and we are looking to help generate leads for our customers who are B2C. We have created counter displays with a QR code that will take customers interested in learning more about a specific product to a Pardot Landing Page that has a Pardot Form on it to collect responses. We then plan to take those leads/responses and send them to our customers so they can begin a discussion that will hopefully lead to a transaction. I am running into a few issues through testing the form.
The first is the Pardot Form Notification email I received is full of all our custom fields I just want to see the responses to the prospect fields that were in the form. Is that possible to get just that information specifically? I don't what unrelated info showing causing confusion or taking up time trying to dig up the proper information. Secondly, I would like the option to batch export the responses from the form. When I do all fields are also exported. Is is possible to just export the responses in the selected form?
Third, I have had at least 4 of my coworkers also test out the form, when I view the report in Pardot my name is the only one that shows under Prospects and 1 total submission shows in the statics. Why aren't my other coworkers' form submissions showing?
Lastly, I am prepared to have the Pardot form notification email sent to an assigned person in Salesforce to forward to our customer but is there any way to directly send these form responses to our customer's email?
Thank you!
Emmie
@Emmie Ammirato unfortunately you can't modify the email notification from Pardot and it also does not store answers from form submissions. You could use a 3rd party tool like Zapier (I'm sure there are many others) to turn that email notification into a pdf, spreadsheet, etc. to save for future reference. I recommend always having a Pardot Admin receive all form submissions. You can usually set up a filter to store them in your email so they don't hit your inbox. Since Pardot doesn't save the actual submission, you also can't export the submissions, only the Prospect record data. It's possible your coworkers are being filtered activity if you chose to filter our your company's IP. I'm assuming they all used different computers. Do you have your tracker domain default to HTTPS? Did you get an email notification that the form was submitted 4 times? If there is an autoresponder as a completion action, did your coworkers all receive it? Here is a good article from Salesforce. I don't have a solid answer on your last question about sending to your customer's email, but I would think this would be capable with something like Zapier as well.
