Hi,

we are trying to understand best practice for creating shifts when the creator of the shift is in a different time zone than the service resource. for example if I am in EST and create shifts using a shift pattern for someone in PST at 9 am the shift is off by 3 hours for the service resource.

We had assumed if we define a shift template to start at 9am and then apply it to a SR it will follow the SR's time zone for the start time (9am) not a modified time based off of the shifts creators time zone. Are we missing something? is there a setting to make the shifts align to the SR's time zone?

Thanks

@Louis Roa winter 23 release is already out (last release of the year shows next year in the name so its a little confusing). in fact we backported this change to release before that ie. summer 22 as a patch back in august. When you create shifts using shift patterns, the timezone is picked from the service territory that is specified on the shift pattern (not from the resource because resource itself doesnt have a timezone). Is that what you are trying to do and is that not working?
