Will this Custom Address Field be powered by Google if 'Enable Maps and Location Services' is checked off in 'Maps and Location Settings' the same way the address field on Standard Objects are supported?

Hello, Custom Address Field does support google lookup to search for an address like the Standard address field.
"Maps and location service" is available in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions, as mentioned in the help doc.
Custom Address Field uses State and Country picklist out of the box but it doesnt mean enabling Custom Address Field beta will migrate your existing state and country text fields to picklist, you can continue working with text fields in the standard address field.
