I am looking at a contact in SFDC and the Pardot Engagement History says 'Prospect is archived'. What does this mean? I've never archived prospects. When I look up the prospect in Pardot for Lightning I can't find it. It's not in the recycle bin either. I then tried to create a new prospect in SFDC w/ the same email and sync back. It won't sync with SFDC - it says 'This prospect has a sync error: Use one of these records' but there is only shows the one prospect I just created. Can anyone help?
Hi this means that the prospect was deleted in Pardot causing the account engagement component in Sales Cloud to say Prospect is archived. The reason you can't find it in Pardot is because it was permanently deleted from the recycle bin in Pardot. You can still view and edit the record in Sales cloud. You won't be able to send an engage email but you can send a standard email. The marketing team deletes prospects that are no longer viable for marketing outreach.
