Hi Everyone, 

 

1. When a case is created, the 'Date/Time Opened' field on the case should be updated when the system admin opens the case. Could you please help me how to achieve this?

2. When the case is created in the queue, whom ever opens the case should be the owner of the case opened. Is this possible?

 

Please help me with your suggestions and ideas.

    Hello,

     

    In the background there is actually a Last Viewed Date field which you may be able to use in a automation.

     

    However this would only be possible if you a System Administrator was editing the record to then trigger the automation.

     

    Otherwise you'd need a Lightning Component or maybe Flow that is embedded on the page that does the same function without the record actually being 'edited'.
