Source ID field when creating an Email-to-case Routing Information:

Email to Case Routing with Source ID as Outlook

Can you please tell me the significance of the 3 Fields shown in my image below when creating Email-to-Case Routing:

1) Source - the value is 'Outlook'. How is this different from Email2Case which is the option other than Outlook. When 'Outlook' is selected, are we saying that emails will be sent to an Outlook email address? If yes, how do we specify which address Customers should be sending the email to create a Case?

2) Email Services Address - This was generated when I saved the Email-to-Case Routing. But I am not sure how I can use this? How can this be used for testing?

3) Case Owner - Does this simply mean that whenever an email is Routed using this Email-to-Case Routing the owner by default is the queue named 'Avengers' ?

4) Case Origin -  set to 'Email' . What purpose is this field serving?

    Hello,

The bulk of these fields are explained here.

Email to case works by forwarding emails from a customer facing address to a special routing address which then generates the case in your org. That's the purpose of this field.

The Outlook Source option is used for the purposes described here

    Thanks Tom
