We have 3 types of products: can only be sold to Enterprise customers, can only be sold to non-Enterprise customers, and can be sold to either customers.

Enterprise is determined by employee size. I have a value on the Quote that displays Enterprise or Non-Enterprise based on employees on the Account. We have our products flagged as Enterprise or  Non-Enterprise with a picklist. If neither are selected it can be sold to both (ie the value is none).

I created a search filter to display the correct products for the Account. However Enterprise will only match with Enterprise, the 'null' products that can be sold to both are excluded.

What is the best way to include both? For Enterprise customers I need something like 'not equal to Non Enterprise' so all the Enterprise and the additional products are available.

Will a multiselect picklist work on product so I can flag the products that can sold to both as both Enterprise and Non Enterprise so it will match the value on Quote?

if I'm understanding what you're doing...we do similar.  We have a field on product that is for this reason.  It normally has 3 values:  New Business, Renewal, or New Business; Renewal.   Our filters work according to quote type.

Non of the products are NULL in that field.
