Recently, when we would send emails out from the opportunity, they would show up in the activity feed for the opportunity.  Something happened and now, when an email is sent at the opportunity level, it only shows up in account activity.  I cannot figure out how to have them appear back at the opportunity level again.

    I think the issue lies with the fact that the contact you are sending the email to is not part of the opportunity contact roles. When this is the case, salesforce will log the email to the account activities but not to the opportunity.
