As you already have a Marketing Knowledge you can First go for the Salesforce Admin certification as soon as you get Familiar with the Salesforce environment you jump to the Salesforce Marketer Role.
I said for the Admin certification assuming you don't have a hands on experience of the Salesforce Environment. As this is the much needed thing to get succeed in any role in the Salesforce Eco System. It lets you know the basics and no code features of the Salesforce along with Data Management and Security
I have hyperlinked both the roles as it will be more helpful for you to get a detailed view of the path. Though it is not necessary that you only go for the Marketer you can eventually try for Developer, Architect or Consultant as in Salesforce Ecosystem programming/ coding is not the only required thing.
