Dear Trailblazers, I hope you can help me resolve this error:
WHen attempting to convert a Lead to an Opportunity I get this error that a field mapping is missing.
On my Opportunity there is the Standard picklist field called Type which appears as Deal Type
Based on the Deal Type field I have a dependent picklist field called Deal_Type_Detail__c.
Based on the Deal Type Detail field there is a dependent multi-select field called Additional_Details__c as seen below.
When attempting to convert a Lead to an Opportunity I get this error about Lead is missing a field mapping for Opportunity.Deal_Type_Detail__c field as shown below:

This could be the reason for error if they are required on the field definition level as they must be entered for successful creation.
I suggest if you don't have any mappings for these fields from lead then keep them required on page layout.
