I am trying to understand how the Salesforce authenticator app trusted site feature works and if there is a timeout when it will still require reauthorization .
I am working with the App and testing it out before rolling it out to the company and find it in consistent as to when it asks again for approval. If certain users need to login only once a week - will enabling this even make any difference? I am seeing it expire at different time frames but nothing I can predict exactly.
Does it stay active overnight ? #Salesforce MFA
Thank you. Does the authenticator have to be always open in the background? Once I close it - it loses previous trusted sites? I am trying to see if 2 locations (work office and home) can both be considered trusted sites. or even when at home - it doesn't remember it the next day (or even sometimes during the day).
I did just update the Location services to Always to see if that makes a difference.
