My upgrade of NPSP is failing in production but not in the sandbox. Anyone have any idea what this error message means?

Could not process MDAPI response: Update of InstalledPackage npo02: Error: You can't change the standard controller object Household__c because this page is referenced in the page layout Household Layout., Details: HouseholdTransactionHistory: You can't change the standard controller object Household__c because this page is referenced in the page layout Household Layout.

    @Exponent Partners​ It's a fairly common error when upgrading, and usually means you have a duplicate object and/or the page layout is referencing old fields. Check out this post, and this post.
