I should preface this with the info that I'm using the most recent NPSP -- I just upgraded to it. I'm trying out LEX and trying to figure everything out in that before I roll this out to our small nonprofit. In the aloha UI I could easily find the "create" tab and then under that there was "event" "task" etc. but for the LEX UI All I am seeing under the plus button for the global actions menu is "new recurring donation" "New campaign" "New task" and "Log a call". I was wondering how I could customize that because we don't need some of those things but we do need others. I feel like I've tried looking everywhere to customize it, but I can't find it. Hopefully I'm just really oblivious and someone can help me out 🙂

I had an instance in lightning that didn't have the send email in the activity section. you need to create a quick action for it and it will appear. If none are showing (new task, send email...) then my guess is you would do this for each of them.
