Is there a manner of removing the household feature from a specific app. My org uses household for our donor data. We also have a separate app for direct service providers. The contacts in that app should not be part of our main org contact list. I have created the permissions limited the access of the data access. I have set the NPSP settings to not include the profile types used in the APP. Although I continue to have the household option pop up in the app. I can just hide the column but have the concern it is all interconnected. Is there a manner of deactivating that feature at certain parts of the org?
@Nonprofit Success Pack@Nonprofit Hub@Angela Campos You can't actually edit the columns that are in the "recently viewed" related list, however you can create a custom related list for your uses that won't include the Account column.
However, I'm not sure that will solve your primary need exactly. It sounds like you are looking to separate the two types of contacts in your org so that you can collect different data. You could get away with creating a second record type for the other contacts and modifying the page layouts to hide certain data.
