Created my first Account Page Layout - and inline editing not working?

I based it on the default Organization page layout and added a section and some fields. When I applied it to my profiles, I discovered the inline editing is not working for my layout. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it?

    There is now a custom button you can add to your page layouts for 'Manage Household' Edit your page layout, click Buttons in the top section and drag that to the Custom Buttons section at the top. Then when you want to have access to the Manage Household interface to merge or rearrange contact order, you can just click that button instead of Edit. Best of both worlds. :-)
