Why can't I see Accordion as available standard component on a Lightning Home Page?

When editing a Lightning Page that is a "Home Page" in the Lightning App Builder, the "Accordion" component is not available in my list of Standard Lightning Components. It is however a component that is available on a record detail page. I can't find anything in the component documentation. What am I missing?

    Not every standard component is available on every type of page in the Lightning App Builder. Neither the Accordion component (stacks tabs vertically) or Tab component (stacks tabs horizontally) are available for the home page.
