I know that LEX doesn't auto-fill the primary campaign source on opps and I'm actually fine with that. I'm looking for tips and tricks on how to make finding the correct campaign easier. A good thing would be to be able to see a list of the campaigns for which they are members. Better still would be a filter-able list (so I only see fundraising campaigns, for example). I think my end users are going to be pretty peeved if they have to either try to remember what campaign they need or they have to go to the contact's campaign history to look it up prior to creating the opportunity. Or they'll just switch to Classic when creating Opps which is not at all what we want. I'm hoping there is just something I haven't found in my various searches and poking around.
I've set up the Search Layouts for the Campaign object, which has helped a lot. Our team already had unique identifiers in place for their campaign efforts, so we incorporated that into the Campaign object on a custom field, and then have workflows in place to include that value in the name of the campaign. Is there a way to include columns that have values your users are searching for in order to select the appropriate campaign record?
