Hi pals!  I hesitated to post here since "all the cool kids are already in LEX"*, but I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on this post and I want to keep the conversation going!  I've been learning that the best way to build my LEX knowledge/skills/comfort is in a volunteering environment - a win-win for all parties!  I wrote about what's been hard and what's proved supportive - and I'm excited to share here it all with you.  Later this year, I'll start applying what I've been learning to my work instance :)
