The VLOOKUP formula is one of the most useful tools in a Salesforce Admin's toolbox. I use it all the time for manipulating data before/after an upload. BUT did you know that you can do even more with an XLOOKUP? Check it out! (and thanks to @Sandy Jandu for teaching me the ropes!
