Hey everyone! I've been trying to understand the difference between the Primary Campaign Source field and the Campaign Influence object, but still am very confused. I need to understand what they're definition/use case is, what are the Pros/Cons of using them, and explanation as to whether explain whether I can use them simultaneously or if I should stick with just one.

If someone(s) could help me understand this better, I would be most grateful and appreciative!!!

The Primary Campaign Source and Campaign Influence can be used together to identify the source of a donation. For instance, if you wanted to send a membership renewal letter to everyone that is going to expire in August, you could create a Campaign for that group and add the Contacts as Campaign Members. If you have Campaign Influence enabled, the Campaign of which the Contact is a member will show up on the related list of the Opportunity. So when the member renews, you could see that it was a result of that Campaign and then tag the Opportunity record with the appropriate Primary Campaign Source. The only caveat of which I am aware is that the Opportunity has to exist in order to see the related list so you'd create it first then edit it for Primary Campaign Source.
