I read a response you made to a post back in February that I felt like I could have written myself! We are in the process of moving from DPO to Salesforce and Constant Contact to Pardot. Your goals were essentially ours and your struggles very similar to one of our big ones around editing templates.
The reason, I'm reaching out to you is to find out how you decided to handle your CC contacts?? Like you, we have been operating in silos and are trying to figure out if it's best practice to move contacts directly into Pardot or into Salesforce and then sync them into Pardot. Our questions stem around leads vs. donors in SF and ensuring that we send e-communications to people that have unsubscribed.
If you have any info that you could share on this, we would love to hear and avoid mistakes in the process.
