For reasons of making a FLOW more efficient and reducing SQL calls, I would like to store the price from a specific Price Book on each Product record.
I cannot figure out how to do this. Do I use Workflow rule, Process Builder or FLOW? Basically whenever a Product is created, I want to get the Price Book Entry unit price and store it on the Product. (I am aware of the risks with this approach, in terms of when the price changes in the price book, etc....I will deal with those separately.)
What is the best approach for this need?
All help appreciated!
Addition - I am looking for configurable solutions only, no APEX.
You could use the workaround detailed here to run Apex Code every 15 minutes based off of Price Book Entry Records
