Automation Rule Criterion ”Prospect Landing Page” not Working

Hi! I’m working as a consultant for a client that uses it’s own CMS for landing pages and Pardot only for the EPC. They have the Pardot tracking script enabled and installed through Google Tag Manager. I can see that the Dashboard Visitors Report is tracking website visits so clearly web traffic is being tracked.

Why is it that when I try to create an automation/segmentation rule using ”Prospect Landing Page” as a criterion, the only option I can select is ’ANY’?

Could it be that this filter populates only once identified prospects visit a tracked url after a form submission or email link click (i.e. when Pardot ties together the browser cookie and prospect id)?

Thanks for your help!

@tkovala1 You have to use a native Pardot Landing Page for the automation rules that use "landing pages" to work.

Are you using a Pardot Form or Form handler on the page? If so, you can use those actions in automation rules (Pardot forms by views and/or submissions and form handlers by submissions).

If not (and the page has Pardot tracking code), you can create a Page Action, which are completion actions that are triggered by a prospect's page view.  What user actions are you trying to capture and what automations do you want to fire as a result?
