I'm curious how others calculate actual cost in campaigns. Especially, when concerning email sends and social posts. Off the cuff I'd say cost of platform license divided by number of e-mailable records in database. Then apply that per person cost to number of emails sent in a campaign. But some how that doesn't seem like it would add up.
Do you also calculate the cost of the labor? Employee salary broken down into hours applied to the number of hours it takes to, write email, build email, send email, build forms, automations, landing pages, etc.
Actual cost of an event, simple how much did we spend to sponsor/attend? Sponsorship/badges, flights hotels, etc. But with email i find it difficult. Anyone else?
