@David Brossard  - I would just like to confirm something - the change of email address for a community user can happen either by the user via the community OR through backend from the user setup.

 

I notice that "email change verification" email is only triggered when the user changes the email address from the community itself but not when it is changed from setup by an admin.

 

This is perfect and ideal but I want to re-confirm that this is by design and not something I have missed because as an example in sandboxes we scramble details and we don't want to have to keep turning on/off the "require email change verification" setting nor do we want emails going out to community users.
