Hi,

I'm trying to enable Lightning experience for Gmail, but I can't find it in SF.

I activated my Gmail integration but for some reason, the emails that I send from Gmail does not appear in Salesforce.

When I installed the Chrome extension I tested it. The email that I sent was to an Opportunity that already existed in SF and it appeared in the

Activity History. I'm sure I didn't press the Log email button, but now, whenever I send an email to existing opportunities, I need to log the email.

Is there a way to avoid this? We would like to have all emails sync with the Activity History, without using the Log email option.

    Hi Magdalena,

I’m pretty sure that you need to manually log the email against the Salesforce record, as this is one of the differences between Lightning for Gmail and Einstein Activity Capture (which logs all emails regardless).

The Gmail settings should be under Gmail Integration and Lightning Sync in setup.
